When shopping for a conventional mattress in Canada, you'll notice that most stores give you a 3 month trial period. Simply unzip the top cover of the mattress and rearrange the layers to make the mattress feel "just the way you like" (this easy process takes less than 5 minutes). Choose from plush, soft, medium, medium-firm, & extra firm. You can either feel cradled inside the foam, or gently supported, on top of the mattress.
Foam mattresses are superior in motion isolation. They do so by absorbing movement (tossing and turning, getting in or out of bed) of one person so that the other person is not disturbed.

Additional foam layers are available (at cost for the 1st year) if ever you need to tweak your comfort preferences or replace a damaged layer.
