Dunlop vs. Talalay Toppers
Organic Dunlop latex has a denser, more grounded feel and is available in Soft, Medium, and Firm options. This makes Dunlop particularly adaptable when you want to choose both the amount of cushioning and the firmness of the topper.
Talalay latex has a more buoyant, responsive feel and is available in Classic and Natural options. The natural content also influences firmness and feel, so choosing a topper involves more than simply deciding between Dunlop and Talalay.
2-Inch vs. 3-Inch Latex Toppers
Thickness determines how much influence the topper has over the mattress underneath. A 2-inch latex topper creates a more moderate adjustment and allows more of the underlying mattress feel to come through.
A 3-inch topper has a greater effect on comfort and pressure relief and is generally better suited to mattresses that need a more substantial change.
