Does shredded latex flatten over time?

Latex is naturally resilient and designed to recover after compression. The shredded pieces can shift and settle with use, but they resist the permanent flattening common with many fibre-filled pillows. You can redistribute or fluff the fill whenever the pillow needs reshaping.

How much fill should I remove from my pillow?

Start with the pillow as supplied and make small adjustments. Removing fill lowers the loft and allows the pillow to compress more easily, while keeping more fill creates a higher, fuller feel. Save any removed latex so you can add it back later if your preferences change.

Does a shredded latex pillow sleep hot?

The loose pieces create spaces throughout the pillow where air can circulate, while the organic cotton cover remains breathable. This makes shredded latex a good option for sleepers who want cushioning without the dense, heat-sensitive feel associated with some conventional foams.

Will a new latex pillow have an odour?

Natural latex has a characteristic rubber-like scent that can be noticeable when a pillow is new. This is normal and is not caused by added fragrance. The scent typically becomes less noticeable as the pillow is exposed to fresh air. However, Shredded Latex Pillows are the most odorous latex product there is, so people who are smell-sensitive will likely always smell something.

My new favourite pillow!

Finding the perfect loft height/softness combination in solid latex pillows has been a challenge for me, and the adjustable nature of this shredded pillow was a wonderful solution. It's generously packed with shredded latex filling, giving it an impressive loft and weight. Personally I didn't need this pillow's maximum height; I took out a little bit of filling and could not be happier with the results. MFC's super-fast order processing was also much appreciated. I will definitely be ordering more of these pillows for family members!
