Build Your Own Mattress
A DIY hybrid latex mattress puts you in control of the materials and construction. Start with a supportive core, then add transition and comfort layers to create the firmness, pressure relief, and overall feel you want.
Choose from organic Dunlop latex, Talalay latex, high-resilience foam, high-density foam, memory foam, and pocket coils, depending on the role each layer needs to perform.
Core, Transition and Comfort
The core creates the foundation of the mattress and provides its primary support. A transition layer can change how gradually you move from the supportive core into the softer surface, while the comfort layer has the greatest influence on pressure relief and the immediate feel of the mattress.
By selecting each component individually, you can create anything from a responsive latex and coil hybrid to an all-foam design with latex or memory foam comfort layers.
Designed to Change With You
DIY mattress components are not permanently locked into a single configuration. Layers can be rearranged, exchanged, or replaced as your comfort needs change.
You can build up to a 10-inch mattress inside one of our zippered covers or use a separate topper when you want additional comfort thickness. This modular approach makes it possible to adjust part of your mattress instead of starting over with an entirely new sleep system.
