Nature’s Embrace Organic Latex Mattress Warranty The manufacturer warrants your new Nature’s Embrace Organic Latex mattress to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for 25 years from the original date of purchase. This warranty is non-transferable and extends only to the original purchaser. Should this mattress fail during the warranty period, the manufacturer, at their option, will replace or repair the mattress at no charge other than transportation costs. The manufacturer reserves the right to substitute materials or a mattress of equal value and quality. Repair or replacement of the mattress does not extend the original warranty period. Years 1-12 of this warranty are non-prorated and years 13-25 are prorated. Within the prorated period, the manufacturer will repair or replace the mattress at a prorated cost of use of 1/25 of the original purchase price per year from the original date on the bill of sale beginning with a prorated cost of 13/25 in the 13th year. The original purchaser must present proof of purchase, and the law label and trade labels must be intact for the warranty to be validated and the mattress must not be torn and must be free of stains and soiling or the warranty is voided. Warranty related freight is the responsibility of the purchaser. Please note, your Nature’s Embrace Organic Latex mattress must be used in conjunction with a Nature’s Embrace foundation or MFC platform bed frame or the warranty is voided for the reason of lack of proper support.* *If you wish to use an existing platform bedframe, to validate the warranty, without a Nature’s Embrace foundation, the Organic Latex mattress requires a solid platform with proper ventilation or solid wood slats greater than 2 1/4” in width and no less than ¾” in thickness, no greater than 2" apart and must be supported by a center mid-rail with at least two independent supports to the floor. This slat width, thickness and distance supported to the floor in at least two spots by the mid-rail provides optimal airflow and proper support of the mattress. Anything less has shown to cause premature failure of the mattress. Slat material must also be pre-dried to less than 10% moisture content to prevent splitting of the slats and eliminate the danger of mold formation. The warranty does not apply to: • Normal body signatures of 1½" deep or less • Firmness preference• Cover (fabric) • Stains or soil or mold or mildew• Burns • Torn Foam • Improper handling • Floor models or models sold “as is”In the first several months you may notice the development of a body signature in the surface of your mattress. This is a normal occurrence and indicates that the layers in the top portion of your mattress are conforming to the natural contours of your body. If you remove the mattress cover, for any reason you risk tearing the latex core and voiding your warranty. Body signatures are not a suggestion of structural failure. Rotating your mattress head to foot every three to four months will minimize the appearance of body signatures. The manufacturer is not liable for incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of this product.
What does the manufacturer's warranty mean and who should I call with a warranty concern?
The warranty on our mattresses and foundations covers materials of construction and workmanship in
regard to your new mattress or foundation. If anything goes wrong with regard to workmanship or
materials of construction, within the warranty period, (up to 25 years), we will repair
or replace the mattress or foundation at our discretion. This warranty applies to normal use and does
not apply if the mattress or foundation is disassembled, abused or misused. Mattress warranties are
prorated. Foundation warranties are non-prorated. When a warranty is prorated, it means, as more
time goes by, the compensation value you are entitled to goes down. A non-prorated warranty offers
full repair or replacement value right up to the expiration date of the warranty. Limitations and
restrictions do apply, so make sure your sales associate completely explains the warranty to you. If
you are making a warranty claim, it's best to first contact the store where you purchased the mattress
or foundation as they are normally involved in the process of resolving claims. If the store is no longer
in business, provide Nature’s Embrace with a written explanation of your warranty claim either via
normal mail at the following address: Nature’s Embrace Latex Mattresses, 800 Cliveden Ave, Delta,
B.C., V3M 5R5. or via email email@example.com. Warranty related freight is the responsibility
of the purchaser.
