Should I get a 2" or 3" memory foam mattress topper?
1st you have to ask:
In what condition is my mattress?
If it’s sinking in the middle, or feels like a hammock, then a topper will not help, you need a new mattress!
If your mattress is really firm (feels hard), is straight (no hammock effect), and is just not relieving your pressure points, then you have 2 choices:
If you weigh over 200 pounds, then a 3 inch topper will give you better pressure relief.
If you weigh less than 200 pounds, a 2 inch topper will help relieve pressure points. However the 3" topper will give you even more cushioning, and will have a more luxurious feel to it.
